Up at the O2

I mentioned in my last post that while I was in London over the Christmas holidays, my best friend and I decided to be tourists for the day and replace traditional gifts with "experiences" we could share as we don't see each other very often. We chose to climb the O2 as one of our activities as it's not every day of the week you get to climb onto the roof of an iconic structure and figured it would be something we'd always remember. Well we weren't wrong - an experience it certainly was and one I'll certainly never forget, but perhaps not for the reasons you've seen advertised....!

Home for the holidays

 went "home" for Christmas last year (how weird is it to say "last year" about something that happened a few weeks ago?!) - and by home I mean London, England. As an expat I am often asked where I feel "home" is or,  worse still I get corrected by people in Cayman if I say I'm going home and I'm not referring to the island - It's like a commitment test and you feel like you've failed if you long for the house you grew up in and a meal cooked by your Mama.
