Breakfast at Anchor & Den

Grand Cayman boasts most of the big hotel names on 7-mile beach but I have personally found that all of them leave something to be desired in the style stakes with aging decor and lackluster ambience. With friendly faces across the table, beautifully presented morning treats and good coffee we were off to a good start.

For $24 the food is plentiful without being over the top. Cheerful chefs whip up fresh omlettes and waffles at the live cooking station, to be accompanied with the standard sides you'd expect at any self-respecting breakfast buffet, as well as some that push the envelope a little bit. We sampled them all.
