A few weekends ago we said goodbye to an island establishment that was an institution to locals in Cayman. Morgans Harbour, one of our favorite restaurants, and a highlight on visitor's schedule's, closed it's doors - but before turning out the lights the owners threw one hell of a party!
I mentioned in my last post that we've been enjoying some late season wind so to add to the entertainment, I decided to kite to lunch from Barkers! Nothing like earning your dinner!
The whole island, it seemed, came out to say farewell and bumping into so many friendly faces and marking such a big occasion made for the perfect time to give my new camera a test drive.
Side note - my new camera, the Canon 5d. I've been saving up for this puppy for over a year and o.m.g it's glorious. If you're even considering buying one, just do it. You won't regret it.
Where was I - the party. Well I think the photos speak for themselves:
