What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

It's now been 2 weeks since I cut my foot on a conch shell and needed stitches. 2 weeks which have been a mix of pain, relaxation, realization and frustration. I may be over analyzing what some may regard as a small injury and setback compared to some that can put you out for months, but I've dealt with this particular set back better than I expected! I've surprised myself in my ability to sit on the beach and not kite for a couple of weeks. I'm not going to pretend that if I can't kite this coming weekend some toys won't fly out of my pram, but in weeks passed I've actually really enjoyed chilling out at the kite spot and chatting to everyone as they come and go, to or from their sessions. I've realised that in the short time we've been living her we've made some great friends - all of whom have excellent first aid knowledge! I've had the opportunity to re-asses what I want to learn this season and get motivated to land some new tricks. And finally I've had a lot of time to take photos, especially of the girls previously mentioned who have recently taken up the sport and then a few of the guys who have clearly been doing it for some time....
